Confused?
Hi guys. I'm new, of course, and no nothing.
I'm not new to online games. I played Perfect World (among others), but got tired of having to ask others for help. I prefer solo play. I don't play well with others . Now, back to Guild Wars. I bought Prophecies. I'm level ten and cannot find any more quests, except for the ones on the isle, and it won't let me play those. Says I'm not qualified. What am I missing? Another thread said there were only 25 missions. Total. Wow. Maybe I did them all and the isle thing is just an extra for factions and such? If this is it, then length of time playing versus cost isn't very good (no offense to those who don't agree ) |

I think you've done the opposite of what you think - you haven't done any missions. Missions are not the same as primary quests. Forget about Embark Beach and return to the Prophecies area. If you've been following the chain of primary quests (under the primary quest heading in your quest log) you should have been directed to a mission outpost called 'The Great Northern Wall', which appears as a shield on the map. Go there, grab some henchmen (as you should always do) and click the 'Enter Mission' button at the bottom of the party window.
See here and/or here for specifics.

Hi Jmtv, welcome to Guildwars and I hope you'll enjoy your time playing.
To answer some questions and first let me ask you, did you go from Pre Searing to Post searing Ascalon by way of a quest from Sir Tydus?? He has a quest that will send you on a mission and then on to Post Searing Ascalon to begin your adventures. The ilse you are reffereing to is Embark Beach and that is a major hub to all points in Prophecies,Nightfall and Factions, the only way to go to all of the points towns and outposts in other words is you have to travel there first to unlock those. At level 10 you should had been able to go to Lions Arch if you haven't already, that is a major town as well. Do you have Eye of The North?? That is an expansion pack which opens up more of the Prophecies campaign to continue the story lines and quests, if not I strongly advise you to get that as well to continue in Prophecies. I'm sure others here will be more than happy to help and advise you further, enjoy and welcome again |

Thanks for the welcome.
No, no Eye of the North yet. Yes, through Tydus. I'm messing around the north now, at the Vale, etc. I may have been to Lions gate, no clue. I've been to a few places now, thanks to Marty. |

It's cool. I wouldn't know what to do with goodies if I had them.
